Muertos in Mendocino...

We just arrived in Mendocino after visiting Dias de Los Muertos events in Petaluma. Some strikingly beautiful ofrendas in the Petaluma's Art Center. It's really incredible how the whole community participates, from art centers, local stores and public spaces, to homes and fine art galleries. The spirit of invitation and collaboration in the creation of sacred and just beautiful art in honor of the dead is a blessing that reflects a particular evolution of Dias de Los Muertos here is Petaluma.
